Proven Anti-Efflorescence Technology

We conducted the following efflorescence tests over a period of 90 days to observe the salt formation across different coating systems, by placing the coated panels onto cotton which is soaked with a salt solution.

How Does Efflorescence Occur?

Efflorescence occurs when the mineral salts present in the wall migrate to the surface.

The mineral salts get exposed due to cracks in the wall.

Rainwater or moisture enters these cracks and dissolves the mineral salts, which consequently migrate to the wall’s surface.

When these dissolved mineral salts are evaporated, this results in the buildup of whitish or greyish deposits known as efflorescence.
